Max Dupain es el fotógrafo en blanco y negro, pionero del modernismo, más respetado e influyente de la Australia del siglo XX. Sus imágenes capturan una era pasada, en la que la sociedad australiana era muy diferente de lo que es ahora. Dupain con su ojo documental, sus imágenes exudan calidad y demuestran el dominio de la luz y la forma con unos enfoques nítidos, ángulos variables y composiciones de gran creatividad.
